The show for Urban Mobility knocks on the door again. It will be held in Munich, Germany from 21 - 24 of July 2011 for the 3rd time.
BIKE EXPO expanded its core segments Urban Mobility and Electric by adding the segments Mountain Bike and Road Bike. BIKE EXPO is now an all-encompassing platform for bicycles, components, apparel and tourism, and establishing itself as a leading trade show for the cycling industry.

Urban Mobility

Urban cyclists clearly enjoy many benefits – they avoid traffic jams and their method of transportation is quick and eco-friendly at the same time. BIKE EXPO presents the entire bandwidth of urban mobility, from City Bikes, Fixies, to freight bicycles.

Commensurate with its high degree of economic significance a considerable amount of exhibit space is dedicated to everyday cycling.

Road Bike

More kilometers in less time – BIKE EXPO takes on an even more athletic flair with the new road bike segment. Innovations by road and racing bike manufacturers are presented in generous and easy-to-identify exhibits.

Munich and its environs are well known for a large number of road racing bike clubs, specialty retailers and ample training trails. It comes as no surprise that the IRONMAN organizers will hold their new pro and amateur race 5i50 at BIKE EXPO.

Mountain Bike

Whether Isartrail or Alpine Cross – mountain bikes are perfectly situated in the authentic environment around Munich. BIKE EXPO expands its selection by adding this major segment.

In addition to the latest products and trends the event also illuminates the practical use of these versatile bicycles. In close proximity to the exhibit booths visitors will find the installation for the DirtJump contest GO BIG OR GO HOME. A very special, exciting exhibit atmosphere is guaranteed!

E-Bike

Imagine cycling with an integrated tailwind – and apparently also with integrated economic power: E-bikes and Pedelecs are becoming more and more popular. Tourists exploring the mountain regions and trendy urban cyclists enjoy the electrically assisted art of cycling.

BIKE EXPO presents the latest developments and products from this segment in cooperation with partner ExtraEnergy e.V. in the E-Mobility Hall. A specially designed demo track invites visitors to test the bicycles on site – conveniently managed by integrated CheckIn booths.
